Redskin 7th-inning rally

High School Basketball

The Goshen Redskins scored seven runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but lost 14-12 to Elkhart Memorial in a Northern Lakes Conference game Friday at Phend Field.

Senior Jacob Drudge belted a grand slam home rum for the Redskins in the seventh. Junior Brett Hunter added a two-run homer and single.

Goshen (1-5, 0-3 NLC) visits Plymouth Monday.

Junior Kyle Bachman belted two home runs and sophomore Gatlin Rassi one as the Northridge Raiders defeated the Concord Minutemen, 10-0, in a five-inning Northern Lakes Conference game Friday night at Middlebury.

Bachman drive in six runs and Rassi three.

The Goshen JV dropped an 8-5 decision Friday to Elkhart Memorial at Rogers Park.

Junior Drew Doss had a home run, two singles and three RBI for Goshen. Junior Evan Weeden pitched.



Falcon JV nipped

Fairfield lost, 5-4, in a JV contest Thursday at Concord.

Drake Fisher had the game-winning hit for Concord and Josh Beck singled for Fairfield.



Raider ‘C’ sinks WN

Northridge defeated West Noble, 10-3, in a ‘C’ game.

Fulk and Rupright had doubles for West Noble.
