Fairfield rips 25 hits in 25-0 win at Fremont

— Fairfield scored 17 runs in the third inning Monday and romped to a 25-0 Northeast Corner Conference victory at Fremont.
Nicole Mullet pitched a one-hitter and struck out nine for the win.
The Falcons had 25 hits with Kristen Burkholder, Melanie Schrock, Courtney Herschberger and Katie Gall each ripping three, Jessica Myers, Heather Vogelzang, Kelsi Burkholder and Mullet two each, Emily Chupp, Andi Gingerich and Kayla Ostrander one each.
Myers had a double and triple, Kelsi Burkholder and Ostrander triples, Herschberger, Vogelzang, Chupp and Gingerich doubles.
Fairfield, 3-0, visits Prairie Heights today.
