The Goshen High School girls tennis team won the championship of its round robin Saturday, moved indoors to the Maple City Racquet and Fitness Club due to weather conditions.
The Lady Redskins were 3-0 and Lowell 2-1. Fremont and Kankakee Valley were also involved.
Katrina Miller of Goshen was unbeaten at No. 1 singles, Katie Van Klaveren 2-1 at No. 2 and Anika Baumgartner 2-0 at No. 3.
Margaret Short and Andrea Detweiler were 2-0 at No. 1 doubles, Brittany Padgett and Kassie Simcox 1-0 at No. 2.
Goshen hosts Northridge on Tuesday at the middle school courts.
