Newcomer pitches Falcons over Hornets

— The Fairfield Falcons notched a 10-0 Northeast Corner Conference victory Friday at Angola.
Dustin Newcomer was the winning pitcher, raising his record to 3-0.
The Falcons, 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the NECC, hosts non-league foe Jimtown at 10 a.m. today.
