Wawasee won the first game, 3-0, and South Bend Riley the second, 8-7, in a varsity doubleheader Wednesday at Riley.
Aubrey Mroz pitched the shutout for Wawasee, allowing six hits while striking out three and walking two. Wiggs had three hits, Newhard two, Goshert, Truman, Sharp and Shepherd one each. Newhard drove in two runs and Sharp one.
Beer had two hits and four RBI for Wawasee in Game 2, Rostochak a hit and two RBI. Sharp had two hits, Newhard and Mroz both one.
