Firefighters were called to a new home at 24420 C.R. 24, just south of the Concord High School campus. Firefighters from Elkhart, Harrison, Baugo and other local townships were called in to assist. The home appeared to be heavily damaged by the flames that broke through the roof.

Information on what caused the fire and who owned the home was not available as of late Sunday night.
