GOSHEN — Family lives in camper

Family 73 is a single mother with three children. She has been trying to get disability for two years now. They live in a camper and she has not been able to provide birthday presents or Christmas presents for the last 3 years. Her children have grown out of most of their clothing. She wishes she could do something about that, but for now, they make do. Michael is 12 years old and hopes to find a remote control Jeep or car for Christmas. Susan is 14 years old and wishes that she could have some make up or a purse. Although John who is 17, knows Christmas is for his younger siblings, his mom hopes that Santa might bring him something too such as tools and clothes.

Mom of two loses job

Family 72 is couple that has been separated for awhile but have recently begun counseling. It has been a really difficult time for their two children. Mom lost her job in August and since that time things have gone down hill financially. Mom and Dad really want the children to have a blessed Christmas. Joshua is 10 and hopes Santa brings him the Avengers movie, a larger size Nerf Gun, and anything Tony Hawk. Molly is 6 and hopes that she sees under the Christmas tree coloring stuff, JC Penny toys real newborn baby doll and a Justin Bieber Bed Set.

Couple looks for work all year

Family 71 is a couple living with their father in law in order to try and make ends meet. Both have been looking for work all year. They turn in pop cans so that they have gas money to go job searching. The children are too young to understand money problems and mom and dad really want them to experience Christmas joy. Anna is 9 years old. She really wants a Barbie doll or Littlest Pet Shop Nintendo DSI game. Mathew is 8 and would love to have a skate board or Nintendo DSI games. Molly is 6. She hopes Santa will bring her dress up clothes and Barbies.
