MARCHING BAND: Goshen and Fairfield tops in their class

DUNLAP — DUNLAP — Several local marching bands competed Saturday in the 32nd Annual Concord High School Marching Band Invitational.

The Goshen Crimson Marching Band won the Class A competition against Portage, LaPorte, Chesterton and Penn. It’s the first time Goshen has won the Concord Invitational from Class A.

Fairfield won the Class C competition, besting Wawasee, Calumet and Knox. Northridge was second in Class B.
