Saturday’s Bloom & Zoom Bike Ride to benefit Habitat

ELKHART — Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County and Bike Elkhart have teamed up for Bloom & Zoom, a charitable bike ride.

This ride, which takes place Saturday, combines bicyclists to explore Elkhart County’s Quilt Gardens.

Featuring 10-, 20-, 40-, 62- and 100-mile route options, Bloom & Zoom can be a challenge for experienced riders or an introductory experience for first-timers.

Some local restaurants have also partnered in the ride, donating food at catered stops along the way.

The Bloom & Zoom Bike Ride begins at City Center Plaza, across from IUSB Elkhart campus at 125 E. Franklin in Elkhart. Riders can register this morning and can start their ride anytime from 7 until 10 a.m. The cost is $30 per person or $60 per family.
