Fair events moved indoors due to heat

It’s hot out there, and Elkhart County 4-H Fair officials are taking precautions

Due to the heat advisory warning, the fair’s Senior Queen Pageant will be moved indoors to the Fairfield Junior-Senior High School Auditorium. The pageant is scheduled for Friday at 9:30 a.m. The event had previously been scheduled to take place on the fair’s grandstand stage.

Also, the fair’s Cheerleading Contest will take place in the Goshen High School Gym instead of on the grandstand stage. Start time will be the same, 2:30 p.m., Friday.

The announcements regarding the event relocation were made via the Elkhart County 4-H Fair Facebook page today.
