OPERATION ROUNDUP

LAGRANGE — The Operation Round Up committee met this fall to make funding decisions for the fourth quarter applicants. The committee decided to award four organizations a grant to help them serve people of LaGrange County. Thanks to participating members, more than $345,000 has been given to the LaGrange County community through the Operation Round Up program.

Receiving grants for the fourth quarter were: Little Laker League, $1,150 for new helmets; LaGrange County Council on Aging, $5,000 toward a new vehicle; Ark Animal Rescue & Adoptions, $1,000 for a dog park fence; and LaGrange County Extension HomeMakers, $600 for the “First Books for Kids” program.
