Mother Good Mondays


Mother Goose Mondays sessions take place through May 20 from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

These learning activities are geared for babies from birth through age 2, who attend with their parents or caregivers.  Rhymes, stories, songs and playtime are planned. No advance registration is required.

Storytime Express

Storytime Express sessions are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Stories, fingerplays, songs and a craft activity about flowers will be offered. This program is free and is recommended for children ages 2 to 5.

Classes

Free classes are available to help people prepare to take the GED test. Those interested must attend a two-day orientation session at the library today and Wednesday. Sessions run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For more information, call 262-5678.

Book Bites


A Book Bites program is set for May 23 at 10:15 a.m. at the library. This is a program designed for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Older children are invited to attend as well. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.

eBooks

Patrons can now access eBooks at the Wakarusa library. Anyone having a valid card can download an eBook to their e-reader device. The Overdrive icon on the Wakarusa homepage at www.warkarusa.lib.in.us is for selecting eBooks available at the Wakarusa Library.

“Molly Whupie” is the Dial A Story title for this week. Hear this story by calling 862-4441.
