1,000 students leave their mark on Earth Day

THE GOSHEN NEWS

— One thousand Goshen elementary students participated in an art project to celebrate Earth Day.

The paper grocery bags decorated by Martin’s Supermarket were brightly decorated with Earth Day pictures and recycling ideas. The decorated bags were returned Martin’s and customers were pleased to have their groceries packed in the bags to celebrate Earth Day and enjoyed the artwork donated by the students.

To acknowledge their dedication to recycling times, additional decorated bags were donated to the Habitat for Humanity Restore location in Goshen.
