‘Koran by Heart’
The public is invited to the library Tuesday at 7 p.m. to watch the film “Koran by Heart,” a coming of age story about Muslim children. The story takes place in Cairo during the annual Quran reciting contest for Muslim youth. This is a companion film to the “Let’s Talk About It” series “Muslim Journeys: Connected Histories.”
This fall’s theme for the “Let’s Talk About It” book discussion series is “Muslim Journeys: Connected Histories.” The fourth featured book is “Leo Africanus” by Amin Maalouf. Goshen College’s Paul Keim will give the lecture Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
Edgar Award-winning Author Theresa Schwegel will be at the library Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. She will give a presentation on her latest thriller “The Good Boy,” followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase.
Computer classes are underway at the library Fridays at 11 a.m. “How-to” topics include using social media, email, downloading pictures and music and using the library’s online resources. To register, call Beth at 825-5601.
Young people in grades six through 12 are invited to the library for craft programs the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Call Kelsey at the library for program details.

Quilt Guild meets
The Nappanee Quilt Guild, a club for those interested in new quilting techniques, meets on the second Thursday of each month at the library. Members will meet at the library next on Nov. 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
