Book sale set at GPL

The Friends of Goshen Public Library will host their annual Holiday Sale Nov. 14 at the library. The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Donations sought

The Friends of GPL are seeking donations of books, magazines, DVDs, music and other items. For more information, call the library circulation desk at 533-9531.

Mother Goose Monday

Mother Goose Monday sessions continue this fall at 10:30 a.m. in the Schrock Auditorium. The program features stories, songs, fingerplays, rhymes and play activities. Mother Goose Monday is free and no registration is necessary. The program is recommended for children ages birth to 2 years old and their caregivers.

Storytime Express

Storytime Express sessions are set for Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Stories about the dark are featured this week. This program is free and recommended for children ages 2 to 5.

Book Party

The Boxcar Children books will be the focus of the next installment of the Series Book Parties set for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Activities, trivia, and snacks related to the Boxcar books will be offered. Registration is required. Sign up at the Children’s desk or by calling 537-0241.

‘Read That!’

The next meeting of the Read That! Teen Book Club is set for Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in room A/B. This month the club will read the futuristic fairy tale “Cinder” by Marissa Meyer. This program is open to young people in grades six through 12. Participants can get a free copy of the book at the Circulation Desk to read in advance.

Bookmobile

Library staffers report that there are a few openings left in the fall schedule for the bookmobile. Those interested in having their home or business be a designated bookmobile stop can call 260-463-2841 ext. 1040.
