Millersburg Lion’s host Easter egg hunt

MILLERSBURG — The Millersburg Lions Club members hosted their annual Easter egg hunt Saturday at Millersburg Elementary school with help from the Easter Bunny. Nearly 200 children participated and collected more than 4,000 eggs filled with candy and dollar coins donated by Interra Credit Union. Five children from each of the six age groups found lucky eggs that allowed them to pick toy prizes.

After the hunt was over, a drawing was held for a combination of eight new bicycles, tricycles and a wagon.

The Millersburg Lions Club also collected monetary donations to help with medical expenses for Ken Neilson who was recently hospitalized.

A total of $102 was donated by the crowd.

Anyone still wishing to donate can contact a Millersburg Lion member.
