One hundred-forty teams with more than 600 players from around Indiana competed in four grade-level sections.  Ten teams represented Goshen Community Schools, and four of those finished in the top 10 of their sections.

The Goshen High School A team (Logan Cross, Joel McFadden, Joel Byler, Abram Schwinn) finished seventh (of 28) in 12th grade  and under.  Logan led the team with 4.5 points (of five).  In the eighth grade and under section, the Goshen Middle School A team (Brandon Schrameyer, Jacob Haimes, Ben Hathaway and Ryan Schlichter) finished second (of 26).

Ryan was perfect for the day with five wins and no losses.

Chandler Elementary finished fifth (of 33) in the sixth grade and under section with a squad consisting of Felix Perez-Diener, Jarah Byler, Joshua Haimes, Kathryn Wertz, and Anne Troyer.

Felix was untouched on the day, going 5-0.  Chandler’s third grade and under team also did well, finishing 10th (of 53).  Isaac Daniels, Erika Lopez, Junior Ward, and Noah Ortiz played for Chandler, with Erika’s perfect 6-0 score being tops for the youngsters.
