Lego Club

The next meeting of the Nappanee Public Library Lego Club is set for Thursday.

Children ages 5 and older are invited to take part in age-group-appropriate challenges and free building time on the third Thursday of every month at the library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This month’s building challenge is “Name Creations.”

No registration is required, and parents are invited to stay and participate. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials will be provided.

Book drive

A selection of books for children of all ages will be on display and ready for donation today through Dec. 15. Priced at a discount, the books are given to Nappanee’s Open Door food pantry for distribution with Christmas baskets. This year donors will have the chance to give in one of two ways: either purchase a book for donation, or contribute a donation toward the book fund.

Science Club

“Microwave Science” will be the focus of the next meeting of the Super Science Saturday Club at the Nappanee Public Library Saturday. Children will meet at the library at 10 a.m. to discover what happens to a chip bag, light bulb and a CD when exposed to microwaves.
