Marc Scibilia to perform at Ignition Garage Friday night

GOSHEN — Singer-songwriter Marc Scibilia returns to Ignition Garage, 120 E. Washington St., Goshen, for a show Friday.

Last summer, Scibilia did his part to secure a local fan base via a well-received Maple City set.

“Marc got a standing ovation from the sell-out crowd during the Will Hoge show in August,” Ignition founder Steve Martin said. “Marc has put together a new band and will be touring extensively this year. We are thrilled that he is coming back to down.”

Showtime is 8:15 p.m. Tickets cost $18. They can be purchased online at www.ignitionmusic.net, at Better World Books, 118 E. Washington St., or by phone at 574-534-1984.

Scibilia’s single “How Bad We Need Each Other” was featured on the TV show “Bones” last year.

The next scheduled Ignition concert is set for Feb. 24 and will feature Justin Jones, joined by special guest and Goshen native Anna Montgomery. Showtime is 7 p.m. and tickets cost $18.

Other upcoming shows include:

• March 6 — The Good Lovelies

• March 23 — The Kopecky Family Band

• April 10 — The Stray Birds

• April 21 — Amy LaVere

“We have a long list of bands inquiring about making Goshen a stop on their tours this year,” Martin said. “The word has gotten around between the artists, and we have dozens of requests for dates.”
