Car show adds tractors, plus children’s events

GOSHEN — Carloads of fun are headed to Harvest Community Church for the eighth annual Cruisin’ to Glory Car Show and Family Fun Day on Sunday.

In addition to a display of vehicles in the car show, this year’s event also introduces a tractor show as part of the exhibit. The Family Fun Day includes a variety of fun free activities for kids including a balloon artist, an obstacle course and paintball.

Following a brief outdoor church service at 10 a.m., lunch concessions will open and the children’s events will begin at 11 a.m. A DJ will spin fun cruising tunes while visitors vote on their favorite vehicles in the car show.

Following a Home Run Derby, a helicopter will drop buckets of candy for the kids at 2 p.m.

Cruisin’ to Glory Family Fun Day is a free event and the public is invited.

Registration for the car and tractor show is $5 and the first 75 paid registrants get a free T-shirt.

To register a vehicle or for more event information, visit www.hccgoshen.org or call Harvest at 574-534-3528.

On-site car show registration and free breakfast for show participants begins at 8 a.m.
