Goshen High School music students selling fruit

THE GOSHEN NEWS

GOSHEN — Goshen Music Boosters will offer fruit for sale through Nov. 15 to raise funds for orchestra, choir and band programs at the high school.

Fruit for sale includes cases of oranges, grapefruit, mixed citrus, apples, mixed fruit, a gift box and a gift basket. Prices range from $19 to $35.

Fruit can be purchased from any participating Goshen Middle or High School music student or by calling 747-5229. Payment is due when the fruit is delivered Dec. 6.

The annual sale is the major fundraiser for music programs of Goshen Community Schools and is a joint effort coordinated by parent volunteers and Kercher’s Sunrise Orchards. Profits are credited to each student’s organization. High school orchestra, choir and band students receive a $2 credit per box/basket put in their account this year. Credits can be used for ISSMA contest fees, trip fees, purchase of CDs or videos, strings and reeds. Middle school directors receive money to buy music and supplies for middle school programs.
