'Idol' contestant to perform at fair

— Country singer and “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler is scheduled to perform at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair on Monday, July 21, 2008.
Pickler’s performance is listed on the concert industry Web site www.pollstar.com. Fair officials haven’t announced the entertainment lineup for next summer’s event, set for July 18-26.
Pickler performed Tuesday on the “Today” show, according to her Web site.
Her debut album, Small Town Girl, includes the title cut, “Red High Heels,” “I Wonder” and “My Angel,” the latter two written about her mother and grandmother.
Pickler was one of the top 12 “Idol” finalists in 2006.
