UPDATE!: Shipshe man dies in crash
SHIPSHEWANA, Ind. — Indiana State Police and the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department were called to investigate a fatal accident that claimed the life of a Shipshewana man at 4 a.m. today on U.S. 20, between C.R.s 1000 and 1100 West.
Killed in the crash was Myron Ray Miller, 18, 0650 N. 850 West.
According to Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Miller was involved in a two-vehicle crash.
Indiana State Police accident reconstruction specialists assisted the LaGrange Sheriff’s officers at the scene.
No details or any name was available this morning.
Funeral information
Myron Ray, Miller, 18, 0650 N. 850 West, Shipshewana, died at 4:58 a.m. today in a crash along U.S. 20, west of C.R. 1000 West.
He was born Aug. 7, 1990, in LaGrange, to Glen J. and Ida M. (Miller) Miller.
He was working on Line 21 for Jayco Inc.
Survivors include his parents, Shipshewana; a sister, Margaret Ann Miller, at home; three brothers, Daryl Lynn MIller, Brian James Miller and Jared Jay Miller, all at home; grandparents, Jerry E. and Ruby Miller, Shipshewana, and Ora L. and Ella Miller, Topeka; and a special friend, Mari Jo Lambright, Topeka.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the family's residence.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the family residence.
Services will be conducted by Bishop Floyd Lehman and the home ministers of the Old Order Amish Church.
Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.
