Westview tennis boys eye Angola showdown

The Westview Warriors remained unbeaten in the Northeast Corner Conference with a 5-0 victory Tuesday at Central Noble in Albion.

Westview hosts Angola on Thursday in a showdown for the regular season NECC title.

Singles

No. 1— Steffen Good (W) def. Trevor Pulver 6-2, 6-2.

No. 2— Steve Blinco (W) def. Dan Ober 6-0, 6-0.

No. 3— Nick Pfenning (W) def. Ty Goodrich 6-0, 6-1.

Doubles

No. 1— Zack Lee-Zac Mishler (W) def. Thad Wysong-Reid Geiger 6-0, 6-1.

No. 2— Alejandro Marin-Mitch Miller (W) def. Casey Symons-Austin Pulver 6-3, 6-2.

Team Record: Westview (13-3, 7-0 NECC) hosts Angola Thursday.
