LaGrange’s annual Liberty Days Festival will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All events are centered around the LaGrange County Courthouse.
The day starts with the farmers market opening at 8 a.m. and running to noon.
Activities include an open car show from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m. Awards include Best of Show and the top five finishers.
Door prizes will be awarded and dash plaques given to the first 45 cars entered.
At 10 a.m., a bicycle ride begins, sponsored by the LaGrange County Youth Council. Spike and the Bulldogs will perform on the courthouse lawn from noon until 2:30 p.m.
The parade begins at 4 p.m.
Throughout the day, there will be food booths, craft booths and kid games.Courthouse tour
The LaGrange County Public Library is offering a tour of the county courthouse at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The tour will show the recently uncovered and restored murals, the different types of building materials used in the structure and the inner workings of the clock tower.
Participants should meet on the west side of the courthouse near the basement entrance at 10 a.m. Call the library to register at (260) 463-2841.
