New pastor installed at Liberty Community Church

Matthew Yoder was installed as the new pastor of Liberty Community Church, 2004 Bashor Road, April 13 by the Rev. Terry Powell.

Yoder is a graduate of Wa-Nee Community Schools system and Bethel College, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in Biblical literature. He was ordained by the Missionary Church March 5, 2006, and has been serving in pastorates at Bethel Missionary Church. He also served as interim pastor at North Winona Lake Church of the Brethren in Warsaw.

His wife, Elizabeth, graduated from Grabill High School and the University of St. Francis, with a bachelor of arts in English literature. She is employed at Churubusco High School.

The couple have daughter, Isabella, born April 2, 2007.

The public is invited to all Liberty church services.
