---- — NAPPANEE — Nappanee Missionary Church will host its 27th annual Christmas musical Dec. 14 and 15 at 6 p.m. at the church.

Under the direction of Associate Pastor Don Rohrer, the annual event features the Nappanee Missionary Church Worship Choir and Orchestra.

According to church officials, the message of the musical, titled “Come, Messiah King,” is a clear reminder of the truth of Christmas in this often chaotic and stressful holiday season. On Saturday night only, free coffee, cookies and cider will be offered in the church’s Grand Hall from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Ted Yoder, a hammered dulcimer artist, will provide special Christmas music during this time.

The musical will have dozens of local musicians and artists singing original music and holiday classics and will provide a time to join in and sing along. There will also be lighting, drama and special effects to add to the experience.

Senior Pastor Dave Engbrecht invites the public to the weekend’s activities.
