Bluffton ministry team to be at Clinton Frame
The Bluffton University ministry team, Shining Through, God’s Love: Beyond All Measure, will be participating in the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, 63846 C.R. 35, Goshen. The public is invited.
St. John of the Cross to host Lenten dinners
For St. John of the Cross in Bristol, Wednesday evenings during Lent will be a night of food, conversation and prayer.
Each week attendees will have a choice of four prayers to pray for the week. Over dinner, attendees will share in the Eucharist and have conversation of how the prayer came to life in the week past.
The program will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude by 7:30 p.m. The Wednesday Lenten evenings will be March 12, 19 and 26 and April 2 and 9. The public is invited.
Swiss steak supper March 22
Members of Osceola Untied Methodist Church will host a Swiss steak supper March 22. The meal will be served from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the church, 431 N. Beech Road in Osceola. Carry-outs will be available.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 4 to 12 years of age. Children younger than age 3 can eat for free.

First of Lenten prayer series starts Monday
The first of six ecumenical Lenten Centering Prayer sessions will take place at College Mennonite Church Monday at 7 p.m. in the Koinonia room. Parking is available near the south entrance to CMC. Signs will guide attendees to the room near by.
The public is invited to a time of guided silent prayer lasting about 30 minutes. People may also stay for tea and fellowship.
Lent is a yearly ritual meant to gather and re-gather one to God in such a manner that a person cannot return to the old self and the old way of being again, according to church organizers.
