Letters to the Editor

November 1, 2012

Kudos for letter and columns

I don’t know who Ruth Mark of Goshen is, but she hit the nail on the head in informing Don Blosser about what this country needs. It was a great and informing letter, Ruth. Keep up the good work. Four more years of our current president, our nation will be gone. Thank you, Goshen News, for printing Diana West’s column. She hits it on the mark every week. Also, Charles Krauthammer is a great read.

We just hope the average person realizes that we can’t have this same guy running our country for another four years of dictatorship.

— Chuck Hernley

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
