Sheriff endorses Curt Nisly for District 22 Rep.
As both a voter and an elected official, I know that defending the constitution and working for the people is critical. That is why I am proud to endorse my good friend Curt Nisly for state representative in district 22.
The principals of liberty and the rule of law are the foundation of our great republic. I am confident that Curt will listen to his constituents and will take his oath of office seriously. As a small business owner he understands that the people create jobs not the government. His message of common sense and limited government has caught on in the district, which is why his opposition has resorted to dirty negative campaigning.
Curt has a broad coalition of voters from every walk of life, every political persuasion and every corner of the district backing him. He truly has the establishment running scared. District 22 deserves a citizen legislator who listens to, and respects the voice of the people, not just to political “experts.” I urge you to join with me in supporting Curt in his run for state representative. We need more legislators down in Indianapolis who will fight for free markets, personal liberty and Hoosier values. We need Curt Nisly in the state house.

Walorski, GOP should tackle immigration reform
You know you’re doing a bad job as a member of Congress when your own party leader makes fun of you. That’s just what happened to our own U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski recently when House Speaker John Boehner mocked fellow GOP House members for being afraid to confront the immigration crisis.
Boehner is right. Instead of sitting on the fence and timidly testing the political winds by continually saying, “I am listening to all sides,” and refusing to take a stand, Walorski ought to tell her constituents just where she stands on comprehensive immigration reform.
