Viewers should try FoxNews

— Did you ever imagine that what happened decades ago in other parts of the world could happen in America: Selective newscasting allowed to the people?

My message is short: We have an election (which is a privilege) in a month. If we do not know what we do not know, how can we make an educated selection of our next leaders of our country — from local to nationwide races? We, as consumers of the news, have not been allowed to make that educated choice if what we have been viewing is limited to the same outlets of ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN.

We all can get comfortable in what we are used to doing. My message brings a challenge: Add Fox News Channel (not your local Fox) to what you are already viewing for one week. Then compare. Don’t get upset with this suggestion — get upset with those selecting for you what they choose not to put on their airwaves in the first place. Why not put it all out there and let the people choose and seek out the truth for themselves?

After that one week you might say “Wow! That FNC is so different — I’ve never heard that before... how do I know that is true? How do you know what you have previously been watching is true? We need and deserve the whole truth. FNC does offer several sides in their hosts and guests. Also, there are news hours and opinion hours of viewing. It is up to us to know the difference. Pass on this challenge to your email lists, friends, co-workers and family.

There are many news outlets now that were not available decades ago. Make good use of them. Find out what you do not know before it is too late.
