Thursday night we enjoyed a delightful evening sponsored by the Goshen Historical Society. We have our own “Garrison Keillor” in a masterful storyteller, Bill Vander Maas. He shared the history of Hollanders moving to east Goshen to grow the best celery in the nation. We got glimpses of interesting school days, bobsledding down icy paths and daily life in those “good ol’ days.” A bigger crowd than anticipated came out to hear this important segment of our Goshen history.
