President won’t stand for the Bible

— There is an interesting item to be found on the website www.wallbuilders.com titled, “America’s Most Biblically Hostile U.S. President.” It cites 54 instances of Barack Obama’s attacks on people’s biblical faith and includes endnotes for each one, including the Catholic faith.

There are many passages in the Bible that warn against this. Two of them are: “Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap,” (Galatians 6:6-8) and “It is time for you to act, Lord; your law is being broken” (Psalms 119:126).

God Almighty will not put up with this disdain and contempt for his word and his people for very long. Whatever you think of Mr. Obama, his own words and actions make a very strong argument that he is not interested in protecting the Judeo-Christian religious freedom that this nation was founded upon. And, as stated in the U.S. Constitution, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” It is pretty clear that he does not take either the Constitution or the Bible very seriously.

Who then will stand up for this? People of biblical faith should be aware that this president will not. Please remember this when it is time to vote n the November presidential election. At the time of the Nazi rise to power, Martin Niemoller wrote describing the dangers of political apathy: “First they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn’t speak because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews and again I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.”
