Goshen community damaged by institutions

Fri, May 16 2008

If our community is standing firmly on two feet, we have just been shot in both feet by two entities of respected institutions of our community.
The Goshen City Council turned down a proposal to fill two vital community positions by one, well-qualified person which would have saved the city about $58,000 a year.
The Goshen Community Health System cut down our city’s champion cottonwood tree along with other mature trees which would have continued to give us oxygen to breathe, a sense of well-being and inspiration to heal. The actions of a shortsighted few can cause long term harm for many.
