Support for Wa-Nee teachers appreciated

— I extend many sincere thanks to the various Wa-Nee community members who have so willingly showed support for teachers in the Wa-Nee Community Schools, particularly those who were able to attend the school board meeting on April 28.
By sacrificing your time, you powerfully displayed your desire to ensure that Wa-Nee students receive the best education that we can give them — the education that they deserve.
As a relatively young teacher in this corporation, I have been impressed on numerous past occasions by your displays of community support for education. Monday night was certainly no exception. Your actions demand our respect and our commendation. Thank-you to all Wa-Nee community members — those who attended this meeting and those who have shown support in other ways — for making Wa-Nee teachers feel valued and appreciated.
