Bake sale helps feed hungry children

— I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed, one way or another, to The Cheeky Chics Great American Bake Sale that benefitted Share Our Strength, which helps to feed hungry children.
Various newspapers mentioned our sale, which helped tremendously. To the many wonderful bakers who baked for endless hours even when they had worked all day, we thank you. Our thanks also, to the many people who came and bought items, sometimes coming back for more, and the people who donated and didn’t want any baked goods in return. And to the wonderful neighbors who bought everything left at the end of the sale. Our goal was to raise $250 and so far, we have raised $335 and we have 30 more days to accept contributions, so we will far surpass our goal. Thanks Elkhart County, you really care, and it shows.
