Souder, Puckett win GOP nominations

Incumbent 3rd District U.S. Rep. Mark Souder won the race for the Republican nomination, defeating challenger Scott Wise with 70 percent of the vote.
Souder will now face Democratic candidate Mike Montagano in the November general election.
Luke Puckett won the GOP congressional nomination in District 2, besting Joseph Roush and Tony Zirkle.
He will oppose incumbent U.S. Rep. Joe Donnelly this fall.

Mark Edward Souder (incumbent) — 40,139 or 77 percent
Scott Wise — 11,936 or 23 percent
