New Westview member elected

LAGRANGE, Ind. — One new member was elected to the Westview School Board and two incumbent members were re-elected Tuesday.
James “Jim” Miller was the winner in a three-way race for the Eden Township seat. He will replace retiring member Nelda Miller. Miller received 626 votes, while challengers Scott Stone had 393 and Johnny Huff received 106.
Board president David Mehas was re-elected in a three-way race for the Clearspring Township seat. Mehas had 439 votes, while Paula Osbun received 337 and Brad Feuston had 334.
Carrie Schrock, the Clay Township representative on the Westview Board, received 1,027 votes in an uncontested race.
