'MAINE' ON STAGE

Second round of Civic Theatre shows set to open Friday.

The “Almost, Maine” actors include Patrick Farran, Shirley Robey, Craig Kilgore, Julie Musser, April Sellers, Bob Franklin, Karen Johnston, Keith Sarber, Valerie Org, Zach Rivers, Angie Berkshire, Amy Pawlosky, Mike Honderich and Carley Dunn.

The stage crew includes Carl Wiesinger and Kaitrin Higbee. Higbee is also understudying the womens’ roles in the play. Assisting Egelsky is Ricky Fields.

“Almost, Maine” will be performed Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Bristol Opera House, 210 E. Vistula St., Bristol. Tickets cost $17 for adults and $15 for students and senior citizens. Three Goshen elementary schools — Chandler, Chamberlain and West Goshen — are providing free meals to all students during the school year as part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Eligibility Provision of the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. Nearly 80 percent of students at Chandler, 89 percent of students at Chamberlain and 78 percent of students at West Goshen already qualify for free or reduced-price lunches based on their family income.
