The route for the 2K is similar at the start. Walkers, however, will head east off the millrace onto Jefferson Street, then south on Third Street. At Douglas Street, walkers will travel west to the millrace, following the trail north to the finish.
Other First Fridays events this month include:
• The Boomer Boys will be in concert at Goshen City Church of the Brethren, 203 N. Fifth St., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pancakes and ham will be served. The music is free, and the food available for a donation.
• Goshen College students will be on hand at Better World Books, 215 S. Main St., to showcase the release of “Goshen Graphix II,” a collection of works in the style of graphic novels. The students will discuss their work that went into “Graphix.”
Also at Better World, Dr. Glen Miller will sign copies of his newest book, “Living Thoughtfully, Dying Well: A Doctor Explains How to Make Death a Natural Part of Life.” The book is designed to help elderly people and their families complete the practical and spiritual groundwork necessary to have a good death.
The events at the bookstore run from 6 to 8 p.m.
