A Michiana Country/Gospel Weekend is underway at Buck Lake Ranch in Angola.
Today there will be concerts all day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bands scheduled to play today include: Backwoods Ramblers, Heartstrings Bluegrass, Heaven Bound, Aaron Stutzman (yodeler), Wickle Creek, David White & Friends, The Desert Road Band, Lena Mullet and Heartland Grass.
Amos Raber will be giving a short church service at 10 a.m. Sunday. Then he will do a music session with Lena Mullet. Several other gospel bands will follow, including the Glen Mullet Family, Double Strung - Matt Swartz, Abe Yoder and Wickle Creek.
Meals will be available from Dutch Country Kitchen today and Sunday starting at 10 a.m.
Camping is available. With water and power, the cost is $25 per night; with water, power and sewer, $30 per night; or rough, $25 for two nights. Call 260-6699 for camping information and reservations
There is a large playground area for children, plus fishing in Buck Lake.
Admission is by donation. Attendees should take lawn chairs and seat cushions.
