Teen Craft Night
Teen Craft Night sessions take place on the first Thursdays of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. starting this week. Participants in the March Teen Craft Night will create henna tattoos on their hands and feet. The activity is open to young people in grades six through 12.

“Happy Birthday to You!” is the theme for the After-School Special set for March 11 at 3:30 p.m. at the Wakarusa library. Participants can learn how birthdays are celebrated in other countries. The party will continue with a story and traditional birthday games. A treat will be served. The program is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, and registration is required.
Flamingo hats will be created during Story Hour March 10 and 11 at 10:15 a.m. The story will be about the flamingo. The program is for children ages 3 to 5. Registration is required. Book Bites
Book Bites will take place Wednesday and Thursday and March 12 at 10:15 a.m. This is an informal story time for children ages 3 to 5. Children are invited to hear a story and participate in an activity or craft. No registration is required.
Ebay will be the focus of a program at the library March 18 at 6:30 p.m. There will be a demonstration of this website with a discussion to follow. Registration is required.
Author at library
Victor Baird will be at the Wakarusa Library March 20 at 6:30 p.m. for an author talk and book signing. Baird has written “Railroading on the Wabash Fourth District.” The district included Wakarusa, and the book’s cover features the Wakarusa railroad depot.
