Clubs to meet
The Scrapbooking Club will meet today at 6:30 p.m. at the library, and the Knitting Club will meet Friday at 1:30 p.m. The public is invited.
‘After School Is Cool’
Young people are invited to the “After School Is Cool” program Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Participants will make “leprechaun hats.” Snacks will be provided.
Winter Story Time
“Winter Waltz” is the theme for this week’s Winter Story Time. “Miss Julie” will lead participants in a winter ice skating dance and will read the stories “Dancing Feet!” by Lindsey Craig and “Brontorina” by James Howe. Young people are invited to color their own dancing shoes and learn to tie their shoelaces. Rice Krispie treats and punch will be provided.
Story Time takes place Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 7 p.m.

‘Yak, Snack and Read’
The next sessions of “Yak, Snack and Read” book discussions begin March 18. The 1 p.m. group will discuss “The Reading Promise” by Alice Ozma. The 7 p.m. group will discuss “Paper Towns” by John Green. Register at the front desk to pick up a book.
Home School Club
Home School Club members can learn about Africa Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. Classes last about an hour and are for anyone in kindergarten through fifth grades and their parents. Activities can include books, crafts, games, questionnaires and more. Register at the Children’s Desk or online on the Event Calendar in the left sidebar on the library’s homepage.
