Children are invited to make a spoon puppet in celebration of the upcoming “Something on a Stick Day” at the Nappanee library March 8. Materials for the free make-and-take craft will be available in the children’s department from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Storytime Express sessions are set for Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. “Plenty of Patterns” is the theme this week. Stories and a craft are planned. This free program is geared for preschoolers ages 2 to 5.
Children are invited to participate in the First-Grade Book Club. To sign up, call 537-0241 or stop by the Children’s Services desk. The club will meet Wednesdays in the Children’s Storyhour Room from 4 to 5 p.m. starting this week.
Staffers with the Elkhart Community Schools Adult Education Program are offering preparation classes for the Indiana High School Equivalency Exam (previously the GED) at the Goshen library.
Classes are offered Monday through Thursday, mornings, afternoons and evenings. Students must register at the library for an orientation before starting classes. Call the Elkhart Community Schools Adult and Community Education office at 574-262-5678 for more information.
