Wheeler-Hefflinger

Miriam Wheeler and Joseph Hefflinger, both of Canby, Ore., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Amos and Betty Miller, Goshen, and the late Ben Wheeler.

The groom-to-be is the son of James and Paulette Hefflinger, Canby, Ore.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Lake Area Christian School; a 2001 graduate of Glen Oaks Community College, Centreville, Mich.; a 2007 graduate of Canby Bible College, Canby, Ore., and a 2008 graduate of Clackamas College, Oregon City, Ore., with a degree in dental assisting.

She is a customer service specialist at Providence Health Systems, Portland, Ore.

The groom-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Mollalla High School, Mollalla, Ore., and works in sales at Mitchell, Lewis and Staver, Wilsonville, Ore.

An Oct. 17 wedding is planned at New Life Four Square Church, Canby, Ore. The couple plans to honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii and to reside in Canby, Ore.
