Blackburn-VanWagner

Michelle Ruth Blackburn and Adam Michael VanWagner, both of Fort Wayne, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ruth and Joe Blackburn, New Paris.

She graduated from Fairfield Junior-Senior High School, Goshen. She received a degree in psychology from Manchester College, North Manchester, and a post baccalaureate accounting certificate at Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne.

She plans to be employed as a staff accountant at Ernst & Young, Fort Wayne, in September.

The groom-to-be is the son of Darlene and Gary Kandel, Kendallville, and the late Richard VanWagner Jr.

He graduated from East Noble High School, Kendallville, and is a student at Indiana Wesleyan University, Fort Wayne, studying accounting.

He is a fiber network field technician at Verizon, Fort Wayne.

A Sept. 27 wedding is planned at Forest Park United Methodist Church.
