Byars-Wilkinson Byars-Blackburn

Amber Byars, Crawfordsvile, and Gavin Wilkinson, Elkhart; and Amanda Byars, Crawfordsvile, and Davey Blackburn, Etowah, N.C. announce their engagements.

The brides-to-be are the daughters of Robin and Phil Byars, Crawfordsville.

Gavin is the son of Kathy and Robert Wilkinson, Elkhart.

Davey is the son of Brenda and David Blackburn, Etowah, N.C.

Amber graduated from Elkhart Christian Academy, Elkhart, and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2008 from Pensacola Christian College, Pensacola, Fla.

Amanda graduated from Elkhart Christian Academy, Elkhart, and received her associate’s degree in business in 2008 from Pensacola Christian College, Pensacola, Fla.

Gavin graduated from Concord High School, Elkhart, and received his bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in accounting in 2008 from Bethel College, Mishawaka

Davey graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and received his bachelor’s degree in communications and Christian ministries in 2008 from Southern Wesleyan University, Central, S.C.

Gavin is an accountant at McGladrey & Pullen, Elkhart.

Davey is a student pastor at Newspring Church, Greenville, S.C.

A double wedding is planned Aug. 1 at First Baptist Church, Bristol.
