Let’s not forget that a successful band owes much to the parents of band members. Moms, dads and other involved adults have transported pupils to and from practice, driven to the shows and filled the bleachers during contests. In other words, they’ve been wholly committed in their support. We’re glad they, and their kids, call our community home.
To local marching band students and families, we wish the best of luck Saturday in Indianapolis. At the end of the day, not all of you will be ranked No. 1. You’ve still got plenty of reasons to feel proud.
