---- — Several people were injured in recent motor vehicle crashes:

• A one-vehicle collision injured a driver two miles south of Goshen Tuesday.

The mishap occurred at 2 p.m. at C.R.s 19 and 38. Elkhart County police said Ricky Ball, 49, Goshen, was driving west in a 2001 Ford F250 truck. Ball turned left to avoid the front portion of a snowplow that entered the westbound lane, police said, and his vehicle went off the road and struck a utility pole head-on.

Ball suffered back and chest pain and was transported to IU Health Goshen Hospital for treatment.

• A driver was hurt in a two-vehicle collision Monday in Goshen.

The mishap occurred around 9:12 a.m. at U.S. 33 and College Avenue. Goshen police said a northbound 2012 Dodge Ram driven by Debra Fastnacht, 43, Wessington Springs, S.D., slid on the ice-covered road and struck the rear of a 2010 Ford Ranger driven by David L. Stump, 63, Goshen.

Stump suffered chest pain as a result of the crash and was transported to IU Health Goshen Hospital for treatment.

• A two-vehicle crash injured a passenger Sunday in Goshen.

The collision occurred at 1:37 p.m. on U.S. 33 east of Ninth Street. Goshen police said a 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by Zachary P. Moore of Wharton, Ohio, collided with the rear of a 1999 Ford F150 truck driven by Fernando Ochoa, 50, Goshen.

A passenger in the Ford vehicle, Tracey Ochoa, 67, Goshen, suffered back pain as a result of the crash.

Theft/burglary reports

• Sebastion L. Wolf, 18, and Jacob Huser, 18, both of 67536 Ind. 15, New Paris, were arrested by Goshen police after allegedly trying to shoplift items at Walmart, 2304 Lincolnway East, around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Both were released on a written promise to appear in Goshen City Court.

• A loss prevention staffer for Martins Supermarket, 1527 Bashor Road, told Goshen police a theft occurred at the store Tuesday morning.

• Donna Whisman, 424 N. First St., told Goshen police Wednesday that someone removed her purse from her unlocked vehicle while the automobile was parked in front of her residence.

• LaGrange County police said an employee of ANR Pipeline, 0255 N. 010 West, LaGrange, discovered on Tuesday that his truck tool boxes had been entered, and numerous tools taken.

Police said other victims were located during the course of the investigation. A suspect was identified, according to investigators, and all the missing property was recovered and returned to the victims.

The case has been forwarded to the LaGrange County prosecutor for review.

OWI arrests

The following motorists were arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated:

• Anna G. Woods, 25, 17238 C.R. 22, Goshen, was arrested by Goshen police after a traffic stop shortly after 1 a.m. in the 900 block of Lincolnway East. She was incarcerated in the Elkhart County jail.
