Elkhart County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two males who were involved in a robbery north of Middlebury early Wednesday.
A 26-year-old female and her three children were home in the 12000 block of Pine Cone Drive in Middlebury at 6 a.m. when two unknown men wearing masks forced their way into the house and demanded money. The two males spent time in the residence and left with items belonging to the victim. The female was treated at IU Health Goshen Hospital for injuries sustained during the incident. The children were not injured.

• Goshen police responded to a hit and run crash at the intersection of S. Tenth and Reynolds streets in Goshen Tuesday. Officers arrived and four vehicles were involved, including the hit and run vehicle that fled the scene. Jose Alfrado Rodriguez, 31, Goshen, was later located at his residence. He was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of a crash and never receiving a driver’s license. He was released on a memorandum to appear in court.
• Charles Patrick of LaGrange told LaGrange County police someone stole his debit card and made purchases totaling $445 between April 23 and Sunday.
• Eveline Hershberger of Goshen reported taking a counterfeit $100 bill in a business transaction to Goshen police at 605 W. Plymouth Avenue at 9 a.m. Monday.
• Sandra Garrant of New York told Goshen police someone stole an Apple iPad and other merchandise outside at 4024 Elkhart Road, Gosehn, at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday.
